This workshop is a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 10-18 to build essential skills for navigating relationships and challenges with confidence. In a world that can be tough, learning to handle conflict in a healthy and effective way is a superpower! 🦸♀️
Over the course of our time together, we will explore:
Understanding Conflict: We'll break down what conflict is and isn't, and how it can be an opportunity for growth rather than something to fear.
Active Listening: Learn how to really hear what others are saying and make sure your voice is heard, too.
Expressing Yourself: Discover ways to communicate your feelings and needs clearly and respectfully, even when you're feeling frustrated or hurt.
Finding Common Ground: We'll practice finding solutions that work for everyone, building stronger relationships with friends, family, and peers.
Join us to connect with other young people, share experiences, and develop the tools you need to advocate for yourself and your community. Together, we'll learn how to transform disagreements into understanding and build a more supportive and empowered future.
This first series will take place on Zoom @ 7:00 pm on November 6th, 13th, 20th.
Participants must currently be 9 years and 11 months to 18 years old.
Registration starts on 09/18/2025 and ends on 11/20/2025.
