Who Can Join Our VIP Program?

Ages 15 to 24

Our program is designed to support young people who may be facing tough situations — whether they've experienced violence or are trying to avoid it. If you're looking for a new direction and want to be part of something positive, we’re here for you. 

At Boxwood, we support youth with free tutoring, GED prep, mentoring, job training, wellness workshops, and tech programs like Apple repair and drone certification. Whether you need help with school, a job, or just want a safe place to grow—we’ve got you.

Once accepted, you’ll get a welcome package, meet your coach, and choose from activities that match your goals. Earn rewards like gift cards for attending events, passing exams, and hitting milestones.

To get started, all participants must complete a brief intake interview so we can understand your needs and goals.

You may qualify if:

You are between the ages of 15 and 24

You live in or around Union County, NJ

You've been exposed to violence in your home, school, or neighborhood

You're ready to make a change and join a supportive community

You're referred by a school, community agency, or probation officer

You’re looking for alternatives to court involvement or conflict
